POIESIS: Philosophy Online Serials

POIESIS: Philosophy Online Serials is a subscription based service for libraries that provides access to the full text of hundreds of issues of a selection of philosophy journals and series. It was established in 1996 as an online supplement to print subscriptions. All available text is fully searchable and displayed in PDF or HTML format. POIESIS includes journals and series published by philosophical societies, departments, and university presses in several countries. This service is one of several bundle options available within the Philosophy Documentation Center's E-Collection.

A POIESIS subscription includes campus wide access to all available issues of the following 32 journals and series:

Print or online subscriptions must be purchased separately. This unique arrangement was developed to increase online access to journal content when libraries still relied primarily on print format.
