The American Association of Philosophy Teachers (AAPT) is a national organization dedicated to the mission of supporting quality teaching in philosophy. It provides a supportive community for philosophy teachers, and encourages discussion of pedagogical struggles and successes. AAPT Studies in Pedagogy publishes thematically focused, peer-reviewed volumes of original work on teaching and learning philosophy. This annual publication helps the Association extend community discussions beyond its membership.
