The Journal of Philosophical Research is a peer-reviewed academic journal that has three main aims.

- We are committed to the mission of non-profit publishing with the Philosophy Documentation Center.
JPR's editorial team is led by Raja Halwani as Editor-in-Chief, and Sabeen Ahmed, Heather Battaly, Eric Glbertson, Jack Kwong, Emily McGill, Burkay Ozturk, Peter Ross, and Liezl van Zyl as Associate Editors.

Established in 1975 as the Philosophy Research Archives, this journal has published articles, commentaries, translations, and other work that supports philosophical research. All special issues published in cooperation with international conferences are freely accessible. The journal is sponsored by the University of Connecticut.
