Pierre d'angle

Guy Bedouelle, Daniel Bourgeois, and Romanus Cessario, Editors

In architecture Pierre d'angle refers to the stones at the junction of stone walls or arches that give an edifice its coherence and unity. In Christian theology and Scripture, Christ is the cornerstone of the edifice. The annual issues of Pierre d'angle were intended to help readers with widely different interests find a common perspective that recognizes the hidden presence of Christ in human life and experience. They included articles, interviews, public statements, letters, and poems, in French or French tranlsation, from scholars, theologians, architects, politicans, film makers, and many others. Online access is provided in cooperation with the The Catholic University of America Press.
