Joel Reichart and Patricia Werhane, Editors

Environmental Challenges to Business presents original work that emerged from the 1997 Ruffin Lectures in Business Ethics at the Darden School at the University of Virginia. The essays in this volume are focussed specifically on environmental challenges to business and business activity. The keynote addresses given by Carolyn Merchant, Paul Shrivastava, Mark Sagoff, William McDonough, R. Edward Freeman, and Kristen Shrader-Frechette are included, as well as a number of response articles and thought pieces that developed from, or were inspired by, the keynote speakers.
