Semiotics is the annual yearbook of the Semiotic Society of America. The 2020/21 volume, Signs of Ambiguity and Uncertainty, contains an edited selection of papers originally presented at the Society's annual meetings in October 2020 and 2021. Publication was delayed by the pandemic. Contributors include Myrdene Anderson, Jamila Farajova, Ammara Farhan, Michael R. Kearney, Rosina Martucci, Lauren Matz, Ricardo Nogueira de Castro Monteiro, Aurora M. Pinto, Anand Raja, Jose Sanjines, and Barbara Young.

Each year it sponsors a meeting organized around a particular theme. The Semiotics Yearbook publisihes an edited selection of revised conference papers that capture the current state of research in the field. SSA members have online access to all volumes as a benefit of membership.
