The 10th International Congress of Philosophy was held in Amsterdam in 1948. It was sponsored by the Dutch government in cooperation with UNESCO and the International Federation of Philosophical Societies. The Proceedings of the Tenth International Congress of Philosophy published over 300 contributions in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. They include papers presented at the plenary sessions, colloquia, and the various sections, as well as the invited addresses. The Congress was dedicated to the Dutch philosopher Léonard Polak, and honored the many philosophers murdered during the Second World War.
